RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stay current with emerging threats and vulnerabilities, adapting security protocols accordingly
  • Lead efforts in creating and maintaining security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Participate in security architecture design, ensuring systems are built with a security-first mindset

  • Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect the company's digital assets and sensitive information.

  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend proactive measures for mitigation

  • Monitor and analyze security alerts, responding promptly to incidents and coordinating incident response efforts.

  • Design and implement robust security controls for networks, systems, and applications to ensure the integrity of data and systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the software development life cycle.

  • Assist in the investigation of security incidents, conducting forensic analysis and preparing comprehensive reports

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Expertise in conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, antivirus, and encryption solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the evolving field of cybersecurity.

SKILLS

  • Familiarity with industry-standard cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in addressing complex security issues.

  • Proficient in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses

  • Strong knowledge of network security protocols and the ability to design and implement robust security measures.

  • Experience with security incident response, including the ability to analyze and mitigate security incidents promptly.

  • Experience in conducting security awareness training for employees to enhance organizational cybersecurity culture.

  • Knowledge of access controls and authentication mechanisms, working closely with IT teams to enforce security policies.
