We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Penetration Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cyber security, with expertise in performing penetration testing. As a Penetration Tester, you will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing potential security risks, and ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform network, system, and application-level penetration testing.
  • Utilize both manual and automated techniques for testing and assessing vulnerabilities.
  • Stay up to date with the latest hacking techniques, tools, and emerging security threats.
  • Provide awareness, training, guidance to employees regarding cyber security
  • Work with clients to determine their requirements, i.e, the number and type of systems for testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance and recommendations on security-related issues.

  • Analyze and interpret test results, and provide clear and concise reports detailing identified vulnerabilities and recommended remediation strategies.

  • Advise on security best practices and contribute to the development and improvement of security policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS


  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across diverse environments, showcasing expertise in identifying and exploiting security vulnerabilities.

  • Proficiency in using industry-standard penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and others, with the ability to adapt to new tools and techniques as the cybersecurity landscape evolves.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical findings and remediation recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to identify and exploit security vulnerabilities, as well as recommend comprehensive remediation strategies.

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline, providing a solid educational foundation for understanding the complexities of cybersecurity.

  • Certifications like Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), or equivalent, highlight a dedication to continual professional growth and recognized industry expertise.

SKILLS


  • Strong understanding of common cybersecurity threats, attack vectors, and the latest evasion techniques, coupled with the ability to stay current with emerging trends in the cybersecurity landscape.

  • Proficient in conducting end-to-end penetration testing, demonstrating a deep understanding of network, application, and system vulnerabilities.

  • Advanced knowledge of penetration testing tools and frameworks, including but not limited to Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Wireshark, with the ability to customize and deploy them effectively.

  • Expertise in developing and executing comprehensive penetration testing methodologies, ensuring thorough coverage of client systems and networks.

  • Collaboration skills to work closely with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, assess risk, and tailor penetration testing approaches to meet organizational objectives.

  • Excellent spoken and written communication to explain your methods to a technical and non-technical audience
